San Miguel Produce
The Nishimori family came to America to pursue the “American Dream” in 1906. They began their new life as farm workers following seasonal harvests up and down the west coast. A few years later, they saved enough money to start their own farm in Southern California.
Roy Nishimori established San Miguel Produce in 1977 with family and friends, becoming the third generation to continue the family tradition of farming. Over the years, San Miguel has become well known for growing quality leafy greens.
In the mid 1990’s, the company created “Cut ‘N Clean Greens” product line with the goal and vision of providing people with an easy solution for adding healthy greens to their diet more by eliminating the long and messy task of preparing fresh greens.
Today, the “Cut ‘N Clean” product line has grown into 12 diverse and delicious varieties. As a specialist in fresh, leafy cooking greens and with an eye toward the future, they look forward to expanding and innovating exciting new varieties of nutritious greens for a hungry world.
